In the 2026 calendar year, a person can contribute up to a limit of $5000 to a political party. This $5,000 limit is aggregated across all registered constituency associations and candidates of any one registered party, Note: the sub-categories have a limit of $3,425.
In the 2026 Calendar year, donations to political parties in Ontario qualify for refundable tax credits up to 75% on the first $509.42, 50% between $509.43 and $1698.08 and 33.33% between $1,698.08 and $3863.35. The maximum credit is $1,698.08. For details on the refundable tax credits, please see the Ontario Ministry of Finance.

The Party must report to Elections Ontario the name, address and contributions of all individuals who contribute during the year. Elections Ontario will publish all the names of individuals who contribute $200 or more during the year. The Party will not share your information with any other organization.
Only residents of Ontario can Join or Donate as per ELECTIONS ONTARIO RULES.
