About Us

Practical policies to improve the quality of life for our families, communities and everyone living in Ontario.

We believe less government interference and more individual freedom would be a great place to start!!

Canada’s Economic Engine deserves a government that gets out of the way.

For decades, Ontarians have been offered a false choice at Queen's Park. Whether the jersey colour is blue, red, or orange, the results are the same: bigger government, higher taxes, skyrocketing debt, and the steady erosion of your individual rights.

Perhaps most frustratingly, there is zero accountability for their failures. When their policies make housing unaffordable or crush small businesses, they just ask for more of your money to "fix" the problems they created.

The old parties fight over how to manage your life. We believe you should manage your own life.

The Ontario Libertarian Party exists to break this cycle. We are the political home for everyone who believes that you know how to spend your money, raise your family, and run your business better than a bureaucrat in Toronto does.

Years and the message remains the same.

It's well past time to Reduce the Size, Scope and Reach of Government!!

Have you had enough yet?

What We Stand For: The Principles of Liberty

Our platform isn't based on shifting polling data; it's built on bedrock principles designed to restore prosperity and freedom to Ontario:

1

Individual Autonomy & Responsibility

You own yourself. You have the right to make your own choices, take your own risks, and reap your own rewards, as long as you do not infringe on the rights of others. We oppose the nanny state that treats adults like children.

2

Property Rights

If you cannot own property securely, you are not truly free. We are the only party in Ontario committed to strengthening property rights against civil forfeiture, aggressive zoning, and expropriation. Your home and your land are yours—not the state’s to borrow.

3

Fiscal Sanity & Free Markets

Ontario doesn't have a revenue problem; it has a spending problem. We believe in radically reducing the size and scope of government, lowering taxes to let families keep more of what they earn, and unleashing the power of the free market to solve the crises that central planning created.

4

Real Accountability

Today, politicians and unelected bureaucrats make disastrous decisions with your money and rights, then walk away without consequences. We demand radical transparency. The government works for you, not the other way around. Every official must be directly answerable to the taxpayers they serve, not special interests or party insiders.

The "Uniparty" vs. The Alternative

The Progressive Conservatives, Liberals, and NDP may disagree on social rhetoric, but on economic issues, they are fundamentally the same. They all agree on expanding government power, subsidizing favoured industries, and avoiding responsibility for the results.

We are the opposition to that entire consensus.

We are not here to manage the decline of this province better than the other guys. We are here to reverse it.

Our New Direction: Building for Permanence

Following the 2025 election, the Ontario Libertarian Party has entered a new phase. We are evolving from a protest movement into a professional, permanent political infrastructure across the province.

We are building riding associations that work year-round—not just during elections—to hold municipal and provincial leaders accountable for their actions. We are developing serious policy, training credible candidates, and building the data machinery required to win seats.

The era of unaccountable big government in Ontario has failed. It’s time to try freedom.

If you are tired of voting for the lesser of three evils, welcome home.
